Our Story
At the beginning of the season, the La Cueva Robotics team started with not a screwdriver to their name--just a group of 25+ dedicated students. After raising the startup costs, the team grew from 0 robots to 3 robots. Month by month the new teams improved. With every turn, students learned more about programming, building, and engineering documentation.
At the VEX Robotics State Competition in February, La Cueva won the tournament, skills challenge, and overall excellence award. As a first-year team, La Cueva Robotics qualified two robots for the VEX Robotics World Championship in Louisville, KY.
